FMCSA--Speed limiters are coming

never gonna happen, drivers leaving that is.. Too many sheeple steering wheel holders, and dirt poor o/o's that need to make those payments.

 

They will need a better way to enforce them Ontario Canada stopped using ez tap to check limiters because they didn’t want to lose in court and have to pay back all the fines. They only give limiter tickets using radar and at 115 km/ hr not the 105 km/hr limited speed .

 

Didn’t AZ make Swift up their speed for impeding traffic on interstates?

Just imagine it.
All trucks in right lane running 60, not moving over for ramp traffic, cause 60 in an 80 is not going to allow you to move.
And an empty truck can’t pass a loaded one, cause down hill they’ll gain back speed.
So gridlocked interstates.
Oh.
And your produce won’t be on time, and we’ll have to shoot the cattle, or take an extra couple day’s to let them off and graze.

 

Hey, those bureau employees have to look like their producing something. Otherwise they'll loose that fat gravey train government paycheck they get every week.

 

Maybe next the feds will just outlaw the act of a pass.
No one overtakes another vehicle.
That will be fun
Or maybe trucking takes another turn and everyone moves to an under 26,001 gvw.
And we truck 4 skids at a time.

The FMCSA has begun the rule making process to require big trucks to have their speed limited. Time to make some noise. After they get this they will probably want to restrict us to the right lane.

If you take away the freedoms that made many of us want to truck in the first place than it's just a job, and there's plenty of those out there.

 

Peel back the onion, and you will find the Teamsters. Anything that requires more drivers to move the same amount of freight, is what they are all about nowadays.
