Smuckers' uncrustables are pre-made PBJ's and they are cheap by the case at Wal-Mart and other places. We pack these for the kids, on camping trips, scouts, Band Camp, etc. . . . very cost effective and filling.

Plenty of free jelly in little tubs at Denny's and other restaurants. Just tell them you drive for CRST.
BoostedTeg and SHOJim Thank this. -
I was gonna say peanut butter and jelly that comes swirled together in the same jar, does not need refrigeration but someone already said it.
Cans and cans of chili beans, ooops someone said that too. Can eat cold or hot, driving or stopped.
Find out if the guy has a wired in inverter. If so, get yourselff a small crock pot, put soup or beans and a small can of veggies in maybe a diced up peeled potato and carrots and let it cook for about 2-3 hours while you're driving. When you're ready to stop, dinner is ready.Thedonkeyshow Thanks this. -

Granola bars, Pop-Tarts, fruit snacks, tuna in the pouches and you can add Miracle Whip from the truck stops, as well as relish, one pouch will make two good sammiches. I bring little bites, they're made by Entenmann's. sp?

The trainer will have fuel reward cards. Find out if he will allow you to redeem all the points for the fuel you both buy. Should be close to 200 gallons a day, thats a penny per gallon so right there is $10-$12 bucks a week you can get a couple three meals out of that as well, Subway, Wendy's McD's etc.
Speaking of Subway, buy a foot long, eat half for lunch and half for dinner later.
Breakfast- buy a couple boxes of dry cereal and a small plastic bowl and bring a spoon from home. For milk, grab a small single serving or two for the cereal. Open a can of fruit and pour it into your cereal for a healthy balanced breakfast. -
Sounds like a good question to ask your trainer beforehand.
Giuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this.
