Tuna pouches and crackers.
Protein meal replacement bars.
Beef jerky.
Bananas.
A case of water.
Fruit.
Cherry tomatoes and other non-refrigerator veggies.
Nut mixes.
Trail mix.
Pretzels and peanut butter.
Cans of soup.
Cup o noodles.
Dried fruit.
Granola.
This is what we have on our truck right now... Plus a fridge full of cold stuff.

PBJ will probably win out on cheapest/easiest to take. Get a jar of Goobers (it doesn't need refrigeration) and some bread. Get spoons/knives out of the truck stops (wendys has the sturdiest ones
)
You'll have a bunch of options when you get your own rig. Ask your trainer when you get one, (I'm a trainer) and it's something I always ask my students about, if they want to go to walmart and get some stuff to eat on. I always advise them of how overpriced the truckstops are; and how fast you can blow your check in their eating every day.Thedonkeyshow and TequilaSunrise Thank this. -
