+1 on In-N-Out. Other than home grilled, Outy has my vote.

Ok, it's official - burgers for dinner tonight!

Can't remember the last time I had a McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Jack in Box burger - I don't consider those legitimate burgers.

Plus one on the LotaBurger. Always try to plan to hit Moriarty during lunch or suppertime to hit that one.

When you run I10, you can park at the Walmart at exit 140 and go to the Blake's there. They allow overnight parking as well.

I used to work at that store.

Putting cheese on a hamburger by default started about 30 years ago when the feds would be forced to purchase surplus cheese and sell it for a loss for the diary price support program.
The major chains bought the stuff cheap, made an easy .50 per burger profit for .05 worth of cheese.
The profit motive continues, even if the price supports don't.

I love fresh char-broiled burgers. Anyone ever been to Portillos when in the Chicagoland area ? They make an awesome one.

Wife and I hit up the In-and-Out in Kingman, AZ. Double double animal style please !

Anyone ever place a pick up order with Five Guys ? They ask for a name for the order. I would always give them different names of terrorist then have my wife go into pick it up. Five Guys policy is for all the employees to say "Hi (insert customer name)", when someone is there to pick up an order. So all the employees would greet Saddam Hussein and it would be my blonde blue eyed wife. Lol
