That happens to me sometimes. I am heavy and ungoverned and they are light and governed. They pass me going up a hill and I pass them going down the other side. Twice is enough and I will put a little more distance between us.

That is the law in Minnesota. You are allowed 10 mph over the posted limit to complete the pass. I imagine that it only pertains to undivided highways. I don't know what other states have the same law. Not Wisconsin.

You speak with such authority and are WRONG. In the state of Minnesota, you are allowed 10 mph over the posted limit to complete a pass on undivided highways. That cannot be the only state either, but it is the one I know of. I read the law myself when looking for something else.

    Dumb mentality.

When they cut ours from 70 to 65 it was frustrating. Then we adjusted our work ethic. We kept the left door closed.

I end up parked next to, or pass them napping - trucks that blew my doors off 5 times in a shift.

If you're getting paid peanuts yet think you're somehow getting ahead because the boss sets your truck at 80 mph - then more power to you. We can still make your pay stub look like a McDonald's receipt even if they cut us to 60 mph.

With the advent of the modern calculator it baffles me why company drivers haven't understood this yet.

    Here's an example - http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...949-brock-express-an-unknown-gem-company.html

He's stupid because even if he was getting ahead he kills it when he gets home time he takes almost a week off every time.

I was playing leap frog with a FedEx driver this morning going from sac to Reno. I actually wasn't playing. Had the cruise set at 60. He comes flying by me. When we got to the hills he was slowed down. I passed him. On the next small downgrade he comes flying by me again. I pass him on the next incline. This went on untill there were more inclines than downgrades. I had the cruise set the entire time. He got on the cb and was talking trash. Hey buddy, not my fault I'm empty and you're loaded.
