Fuel gelling and icing: What causes it, the myths, and how to prevent it

I have been using wintr powr thaw 32oz treats 250gallons so far down to -21 below I have gelled up yet and that's just using no.2 haven't bought any of the 70/30 mix available around me

 

the 911 I think is for if you gel to get you going, not to prevent gel. I use the power service in the white bottle. w.m. has the best price. I also use the FPPF. in the small white bottle. using the power service does not do anything for water or condensation. had my davco drain clog with ice last week. had to use piece of wire to get ice out. bought the fppf to put in this week.

 

I see a lot of complaints about Howes, if these are true, has anybody tested their free tow guarantee?
