that is good stuff.my fuel co sells a lot of it

This probably won't mean all that much, but last winter we had a few very cold days, lots of pick ups and big trucks on the shoulder, etc. because of gelling
I drive an old Dodge diesel picK up and use one litre of Wally 2 stroke pre-mix per tankful, has great anti-gelling properties and helps with the ULSD. I have had no problems with cold Temps. -
How much did you use and did you run truck for 15+ minutes as per their instructions after filling up?
-
I used almost double the dose and yes I ran it for about 6 hours after fueling . Told a diesel tech about my experience . He told me that if you use too much additive , it actually has a negative effect and can cause gelling . I have no proof or anything , just what I heard . Curious to see what others have to say about this .

I have a new Cascadia Evolution it says right in the manual no need for fuel additives..I live in Denver let my last truck sit 4 days 10 below started right up...did this many times. Im not putting any additional additives this year regardless of the temp. No one really can say it helps,, most techs say it can hurt. I agree with most of you just high idleand you will be fine. My 2 cents
