People really don't know how to use words properly. None of these drivers are entitled. They're just inconsiderate. Way different things.

When a 30 had to be off-duty, taking it at the fuel island was a seriously lame thing to do. But with the current rules, a driver can take 15 minutes to fuel (not unreasonable) and pull up and take 15 more minutes. Heck, if the truck behind you looks like it’s ready to go, you can even do the creep and finish out the last five minutes on the way to the exit.

Of course, that’s not the kind of behavior that enrages us. It’s the jerk who camps out with no consideration for the next guy, and unfortunately there are far too many of them.

You'd be surprised how many truckers are actually walking around with an entitled attitude. Just because someone works, doesn't mean they don't carry that attitude.

I feel the same way, mostly. It’s frustrating but I would never endanger others or my career. However, as was said earlier, I’d look the other way if someone retaliated against one of the rude, inconsiderates.

You know, I never thought of that. You made a valid point. I certainly did exactly that yesterday. People should go park if they are going to do something more than pee or grab food.

Well everything needs qualification. If the person did something that obviously would endanger someone, I’d step up. But in the case of the seal for the 30 minute pump person, I wouldn’t lift a finger.

If they were considerate of others, they’d be a sport and violate their HOS and get the hell out of the way.

Take the supply line off and then put a quarter in between the seals. Had a coworker do that to me for a joke, but luckily I'm not an idiot and instantly knew what it was by the sound the valve (didn't) make.
