Down here All the old higher wage guys are getting sidelined for b.s cpap scam or other health issues or retireing out. Replacements get hired at half what those guys were making. Gonna be bad. Along with handing out cdl’s like participation trophy’s You notice how the cpap thing isn’t a problem if you came across the southern border.

There are TOO many trucking companies, trucks, and drivers. Maybe once 30% of the pool of those things are reduced pay will increase.

Fuel hauling is a cut-rate game, especially with big players like KAG who can afford to haul for cheap in order to win market share.

Wages dropped dramatically in 2008 also. My brother in law saw a $100 per load drop in pay hauling oil.
I was making $20 an hour hauling dirt. Wages dropped to $10 an hour to start. The high earners dropped hours. Back then. Trucking was the most popular job because people couldn't find a job.Rideandrepair, OrangeBox and Wargames Thank this. -
When they ship John Deere jobs down to Mexico, this is what you get. A man has to eat, he'll take a fuel job for less, what else he's supposed to do?
