Good luck best of wishes.. remember to take your time. That goes for parking in these lots don’t rush yourself or panic over what you feel others think. Until you got it in there it takes as long as it takes. And also on these roads, the only way to make time is to leave early. If youre gonna be late let dispatch know ASAP and enjoy your ride. Do not be out here stressed and not enjoying it. (Unless in Chicago traffic hehe) Also do your best to eat healthy out here

Just make wide turns my friend. Watch your trailer swing and GOAL. Don’t hit anything and it’s all good. That’s literally all there is to a good job other than, don’t be late. And, don’t kill your trainer.

Make sure the truck you lease is the right color.

If it’s not, will they be okay if I wanna exchange it? What’s your experience on that?

Will they give me the truck I want? As you know their trucks are mostly freight liner and I’d like the Peterbilt better.

Probably if a Pete is avail. If not, might depend if you want to wait for one to become avail or not.

They will let you do almost anything you are willing to pay for. Prime is a business, not a hobby.

Be a company driver until you do know enough to assume ALL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY for operating a truck. Prime as very good training, but IMO nobody should be leasing a truck until after they have 1-3 years working as a company driver. As a company driver all of the costs of the truck are paid by the company.

I'm in PSD on truck now with prime trainer. Everything is great. I think living in the truck is great on the job experience. Going on the 15th for cdl test. It's been one week and 1 day..learned sooo much about the job! Its rough but I like it so far.
