I updated my 760 four days ago, and I see weigh station proximity alerts aren't coming up. I finally have time to deal with it this morning and support solved it. That feature was removed on the latest update.

Now you know how they're fixing things. Like when a state DOT fixes a torn up road with lower speed limit signs.

Guess I'll blow the dust off the crappy RM tablet I wasted $400 on and see if it has weigh station alerts. I can't remember. I know where they are, but it's nice to have a popup warning 5 miles in advance so I can wake up and get in the slow lane early if I want.

BTW, I mainly use the GPS for figuring ETA.

Garmin tip for difficult/inaccurate address entry: Find the exact spot you want on Google Maps and drop a pin. Tap the description and find the lat/lon coordinates and enter that way instead. Works especially good when a street address is the office with a car parking lot, in front of a plant that's a square mile and the truck entry is around the side or something, usually the wrong way on a 1-way street.

Just updated mine last night. I can already see a difference. No routing me around the Blue Grass Parkway anymore. By sheer coincidence, the truck I was in had a Garmin, the old version. I cringe now when I hear all routes it was trying to take me to avoid bridges it believed wouldn't support my weight. Can't wait to see if Atlanta is better.

I called in numerous false ones, especially in Kentucky. Guess they had so many they just wiped them out until they could fix the issue.

I can live with that. No GPS is perfect. What got me was them just doing it on a unit I've owned for years. Nothing says customer service like removing features years after the sale.

Apple iOS on both iPhone 6S and iPad mini.

On the most current version, which was last updated over a year ago. CP is CoPilot.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I’m on Version 10.4... I was informed that Version 10.10 should fix my access to Contacts (iOS)

There was also a conflict on my account in that I first tried the car version to test the waters before dropping $150 on the Truck Version... so that was impacting my Truck Routing, or so they say. And of course CP couldn’t simply reset or delete my account to fix it so I had to create a new account with a useless old email address to fix that problem...

So now just playing the waiting game for them to release 10.10 so that I can simply access my addresses in Contacts... it shouldn’t be that darn difficult to do, but... yup

    Agreed... like CP accessing Contacts.

I like copilot but on occasion it has been known to give bad directions. Be very careful if you miss a turn as it can and will try to reroute you down into some place you don’t want to be. Trip planning on the app is very good. I only wish it would tell you how many parking spaces the truck stops have. It is a bit of a pain to scroll around truckerpath to find them and get info.
