Yep that was me, thought that might have been you that rolled by me. Dang you rolled all the way to Ontario:) That is a sweet 700 mile jaunt there from Hendo. I will be on my way back to Sumner as soon as I can get this load knocked off but will be a late start waiting on my 10 to be up.

I spent the night in Alamo, so really only 623 miles ( because of the detour yesterday ).

Well I left a pile of grilling wood at the old truck stop ready for your use there in Alamo, hope you made good use of it:)

Awaiting the decisions of the underwriters for the house in Arkansas. Got a promising call from someone with the loan company I applied through so hopefully I will get some good news very soon about that.

Made it up to Buhl, ID late last night and unfortunately stopped at "The Country Store" or something along those lines. Cost me 200 bucks as it had a lot of good clothing and boots inside and I made an extravagent purchase for me. A real nice pair of 8" leather work boots that feel good, are waterproof and insulated for the coming winter. Just hope they last longer than my last Wal-Mart boot purchase.

That does look like a nice place to stop. Guess I'll have too now.

I'm picking up on Hermiston,OR going back to Dallas. I'll be stopping this afternoon at the Space Age TS in Hermiston. Scheduled to pick up tomorrow and deliver on Dallas on Monday.

Day one in orientation and I am at the head of the class...because I am the only one going through orientation. I have writers cramp....geeez, ya'll were right, there is a lot of paperwork to do here. They've already assigned me a truck. They were down to 1 permanent truck, and it has a few shop issues yet to fix, but overall, a much better Cummins powered Prostar than the Maxxfarce powered Crete chariot. The only down side, it has the Cab Comfort system(I think that is what it's called) and it's a mid-roof, double bunk....which I didn't know they even made. But Jerry said I may be in a loaner truck for a load or two since our shop is such a slooooooow overloaded place. All in all, the more I learn about this company, the more impressed and pleased I made the switch.

I heard you was the only one in Orientation this week. I was on the yard today and think I saw you but didn't know it was you at the time. I believe I saw the truck you're getting as well. They should've had that thing fixed before now. Guess they've been dragging their feet since no driver has been assigned to it. I won't give out the whole number but it ends with 3. That truck was available when I got the one I have now. Hopefully it'll be a good starter truck for you. Definitely could've been worse. You'll be fine with the Cab Comfort system once the 90+ weather is gone. Glad things are shaping up for you. I'll stop by and say hey if I'm still on the yard tomorrow. I may grab some more free stuff they are giving out. Good luck with everything this week. :)
