there is a Wal-Mart store 1/2 mile or so from the dc that you can stay at, at least I was able to the last time I was there 6 months or so ago.

Well, I escaped the central TX black hole of freight alright. Right after I checked in at New Braunsfel I no sooner than had my butt in the seat and backhaul called. Pol-Tex to GP...and this one was ready. No sooner than I hung up the phone, I hit the speed dial...'Hello Outbound'. About the time I am leaving New Braunfels...Outbound calls and I take a Oconomowoc/Beaver Dam WI 2 stopper for Monday and Tuesday. The only problem, 1800 Monday is the first appt, 0600 Tuesday is the second. Plus, enroute, my truck shutdown just outside St. Louis...I have a coolant line leaking on the back of the oil cooler on this old beast...when it rains....yadayadayada.

Made my first stop in marcy ny. I only had 7 pallets only took them 4 hrs. According to paperwork I was unload in 1/2 hour and took them 3 1/2 hrs to do the psperwork. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. Got a good nap in so I will have good day of watching football.today

Tomorrow I get to GP. The closer it gets to that time, the more nervous I am getting. I do not want to blow this one since I already left the river to get to this interview.

It's been a while since I've live unloaded at Target and Walmart...do either charge to unload? And do we have an account with them if they do. Walmart use to have a $50 charge. That way I can request some unload money on my card...both my delivery times are outside normal business hours, and since we are without night and weekend dispatch, I'd better get it early.

I don't recall paying unload fee at either place. A tip for unloading at Targets: if you don't want to wait up to 6 hours to unload, ask if you can assist. You get no extra pay for this but you are usually in/out within two hours & usually much less.
