Thanks for the help JD. Another 4k mile week and after getting my egr cooler and a couple other things fixed I have not had one check engine light come on. This is the first week that's ever happened. Been 4 months and have not done a 34 on the road yet. And if i get the poltex to gp like i always do then i'm good to go. Me personally if I was gonna leave it would be ups or Walmart. If we got paid the 10 an hour to sleep we would be making just as much. PS4 11/15 cant wait.

Unfortunately the only way to talk to anyone in HR (Poly does not have recruiters) is to submit your application. To get an application you must go to Poly-Trucking.com and download one. Good luck.

Since Poly seems to be a good company to work for, at least from the posts that i have read, I am sure you are being paid for that down time. I mean a good company would pay their driver's for all of their on duty time. Right? Because who in their right mind would work for a company that doesn't pay the driver for all of their time?

    Glad you are happy there.

It is a serious consideration!!!!!!! I did a split log(maybe not legally because I showed the 2 hour part at the scale and an 8 just before my 14 was up). That gave me enough time to make it to the delivery with 30 minutes to spare on my appointment. When I went to drop my trailer at the Lowe's door to unload...it felt like I was dragging a brake...which I was because the other brake chamber bracket had broken off. I got it to the door, dropped and called Martin and told him that these are most certainly a manufacturing defect, not driver error. Then called Fleetnet. The security guard at that Lowe's is an absolute A'hole(the name Ohio is an Indian word meaning A'hole)most Lowe's D/C's you pull completely under the entrance pavilion before checking in...not Findlay. He pitched a fit at me, I apologized and said ''all the other Lowes D/C's insist you pull all the way up'' to which he replied ''that's not how we do it, next time stop back there''...to which I replied ''oh yea, this is Ohio, you people always do things different, that's why I left this God forsaken state''. I'm not attempting to win any popularity contests. When I got empty, I backed off the broken brake, and took it 2 miles to the shop...3 hours later they had it done. This time it not only broke the half-arse welds, but bent the bracket, so they had to replace it too. I warned backhaul when I was OOS that I would be delayed on picking up the load, I warned the broker when I called for the info that delivery by 8 am Friday was impossible since the 2nd breakdown had happened, and even when I did my load call and check call to the broker, they still insist that I have to deliver on time...and would attempt to get me more time...then this a.m. coming in to Nashville the splitter on this super-10 started acting up and I only had even number gears until I stopped for my mandatory 30 when I got it to start working again after shutting off the engine and draining my air. I have already warned my wife...I am unloading ALL my stuff out of the old truck if it isn't done and taking it home and exploring other options, if I find something, then I'll warn Poly, bring their truck back and move on to somewhere that I don't have daily truck and trailer issues...before something breaks that causes catastrophic problems to my reputation..I told her to save some money back in case I need a flight home...

This place truely some of the worst equipment I have ever tried to keep on the road...not just the trucks either. Over 1/2 of the ''ok'd'' trailers I've tried to leave with have had to have something fixed before I roll. It's a miracle that we aren't pulled in and DOT'd all the time.

Sorry to be so negative, but it's tough to be positive when you're breakdown company hears from you so much, they recognize your voice
