SS, also, if you ever need to stop at GP for fuel only, just pull up on inbound scale & notify that your are getting fuel only. When doing this you can only stay on the yard long enough to fuel & goof off for an hour or two. Repeat process when leaving without getting on outbound scale.

Fitness room is the room next to the room where we have driver's meetings.

I hate International trucks. Had my truck checked out...fan hubs just seize I'm guessing. Suggested that it get rebuilt because it could come apart and then destroy much of the under hood stuff...they may get to it tomorrow.

Just saw the weather channel forcast for the twin cities. Sunday night actual temps in mid -20 but wind chills near -50...in my 20+ years I've never been that cold.

I got a load out of there. Offered multiple loads. One to somewhere in NY, one multi-stop to IL or to N.Vernon, IN...I took N. Vernon. Picks up Monday delivers Wednesday

I was just in that area at St Cloud Minnesota. The actual temp during the day was minus 17 with a 20 mile per hour wind. That darn enforcer lock was frozen solid I had to get out my torch and heat it up. Man it was the coldest I have ever been!

I am soooo glad I don't own a truck anymore. I only have 240k miles on this truck and it isn't under warranty. I think because it is over 3 years old and Poly didn't buy the extended warranty. They replaced the fan clutch and hub assembly. With labor and all the extra's it cost Poly over $1600...but it's fixed in under 4 hours. If I had left it for our shop to do...I might have seen it just before Spring. Now I am in Albert Lea...and I saw my high temp for the day. At midnight it was 0. At 7 am it is -9. Hey Al Gore...I got your global warming right here. The state has already cancelled school for Monday because tomorrows high will be -18. You know it's bad when Minnasotins cancel stuff...knowing these folks...it'll just give them more time to take the snowmobile out on the lake and do some ice fishing...where they'll build a bonfire to keep warm

It's not the shops fault 100%. They 1st diagnose the problems and tell the shop management what they need, then the shop boss has to shop for the best price on the parts, then submit it for a p.o. number from Poly America, then once a p.o. is issued they are allowed to order the parts and then they can fix the truck. Then if that wasn't the part that was causing the problem, go back to step one and start over..that's a lot of red tape to tie up in a fancy bow before the truck is fixed.
