Wow what a difference a week makes. Last Sunday, Wyoming was a total nightmare weather wise...snow, blowing snow, ice, wind. This Sunday...a little gusty around Elk and kinda breezy between Laramie and Cheyenne.(I know...the wind only blows thru there on days that end in 'y') Plus, kinda warm for mid-January. Ran 697 miles today...and only saw fog twice for just a few miles...what a relief

Does Poly get there W2's out early or do they wait until the last minute? Since I'm no longer a Creten...my Crete W2 showed up last week. I was hoping to get my taxes done while I was on my bereavement time off. Would help cover a week off w/o pay.

Not sure if W2 will be much earlier than the required IRS date of January 31. Certainly no later than that.

Ahhhh, Roadrunner loads. So close, but yet so far. I got to Roadrunner here in Irving...their terminal gives new meaning to the word tight. They are fixing pavement so it's a dodge 'em obsticle course. Then the words no driver trying to get home wants to hear. "Whach yer phone number, it's gona be a whall"(for those that don't speak southern drawl...I will translate. "Please sir, jot down your cell phone number, we will call you when your trailer is ready, there may be a slight delay in unloading")...good thing I had a bad case if insomnia last night and could use a nap. It could be worse I suppose. Since I wasn't planning on doing much after getting empty today anyway(after 3500ish miles in 7 days, I didn't have much on my 70)I guess it's as good a time as any to have a long unload...

I have dropped and hooked at that Roadrunner terminal before, perhaps if you are there next time check around on the back side for an empty trailer.

Unfortunately I've got a 2nd stop. A direct shipment to Grand Prairie. With a phone numbr that goes to an unused voicemail account.

I'm kinda glad that I'm not getting a new truck right now. These new trucks bobtail are 12,500 on the steers. They have heavier axles, but were shipped in with standard tires so they aren't allowed to leave the yard until they replace the tires with a higher weight rated tire. Plus, there are 10 that are single drive with a tag axle...eeeeeew

I can honestly say that I'm hoping they offer me one. I'm beyond tired of bouncing from one loaner that breaks down to another while my assigned truck is being repaired or shall I say down for repairs. I've been here long enough to qualify for one but still haven't received a call. I don't want a tag axle for sure. I just can't believe they've been having me do loaners and having break downs while giving others new trucks. I had been doing so well on my first year. No truck issues and then about three months ago it's been one issue after another. I had a good year for miles at a little more than 136,000 with several days off so still very happy in that department. Still love it here...just want a new ###### truck! Hehe! Take care out there and thanks for all the Posts. :)

This just looks wrong for an OTR truck (this is the view from the rear crossmember of the new single drive/tag axle setup on the new trucks. That 1st track bar and beam you see is actually the rear axle) even set up like this, this truck is still 2k lbs heavier than my 2010.

I did find out there is a odd 2 story/4 battery battery box where the drivers side tool box use to be..but that is for the battery hvac system. Another driver said there is a 2nd 4 battery box under the drivers side floor since they moved the fuel tanks back under the sleeper. Someone else said that they upped the fuel tanks to 140 gal/side which would explain some of the extra weight.
