gjcarr03 Thanks this.

Well I got my W2 today. But I don't see any place where they show the amount of perdiem they paid. Don't tell me I have to pull up my last paystub and check to see the grand total they paid... so I know how much meal allowance to claim since I had part of the year without and part with perdiem.

Put in my app last week. Got a call today. Waiting on HR. Ahhhhh yaaaaa!
Been following this thread for months. My 1 year contract was up last month. Took vacation time to get a car in DFW and to hand deliver my app.
Do fine where I am at. But .48 the resistance was futile! Now the hurry up and wait begins.......jdrentzjr Thanks this. -
My goodness...I'm sitting in my house in N. FL...and a winter storm watch has just been issued for my county...since I've been in so much ice lately, maybe I'll throw in some chains and go pull people out of ditches at $50 a shot...naaaaa I survived the last 2 storms...no tempting fate on the 3rd time since the 3rd times the charm

ya it all messed up in SE. sitting in Memphis with a load to NC going thru Atlanta. so I decided to go ahead and wait till tomorrow to head that way. hope they have the roads cleared when I get to that area tomorrow night.
I knew north florida was messed up when I heard on radio florida was closing schools. LOL they never do that for winter weather that is.
if I get that call from HR I will park this mofo at the next "wont say who I work for" yard. lol the way I see it its costing me over 500 a week to give them a 2 week notice. lol Just kidding I will give them notice once I know im hired. so they can have there truck where they want it. they have treated me real good. -
Well, with the "DriveCam in all the trucks sooner rather than later" discovery over in Happy Valley, NE... I might just have to toss an app Poly's way. I probably won't make the cut, because of a stupid little non-DOT preventable I had right after I started over there (11/12) and my pre-trucking employment gap...but I guess if you never try, you never know.

Hey guys quick question, does anyone know the size of the bolts that hold up the tv tray/stand on the international trucks? I know some have removed them or had the shop remove them so they could put their fridge in that spot.

I work for Poly and just wanted to do a fyi to the less informed following this thread. We get the 48 cents a mile less the other benefits. Drop and hook, layover and breakdown are not payed for. Look at ups and other ltl or walmart otr and they get payed far more then us. The people here think we should be lucky to work here. I on the other hand believe they are lucky to have me. Ups pays .56 cpm and $25 plus. Hard to get employed though. You have options.
