The face to face I had was also short and sweet. Basicly a final review of your history, and a brief chat session so they can get a feel for your overall personality and work ethic. There were a couple of drivers going through them while I was in orientation...one didn't pass the interview and one did. Not sure what was said that caused them to not be accepted, but JD posted a great tip back when I was heading in for mine...be honest with what ever answers you give.
As for the test...read the questions carefully. In my opinion I think it's a 'how you think things through' and a 'how you think on your feet' test. Like Majastyk said, you aren't expected to finish...it's how many you answered right, not how many you answered. There is some math(not calculis or even algebra 2 level), some story type comprehension, and some pattern recognition (a series of numbers or words, and you figure out what comes next in the sequence). I think I got to the high 30's or low 40's in how many I answered...and according to the HR guy...I did quite well, but I didn't get a number of how many I missed.

Has anyone stayed over night in the staging area at the Costco in Sumner, WA? I think I remember someone here saying that all of the Costcos had available over night parking in the staging area but I thought I showed up early one time there and had to go back to that truck stop for a bit but I can't remember for sure. I would rather stay there if I go all the way to Sumner instead of staying down the road a bit and I really dislike that pay for parking truckstop around the corner.

Good luck. My husband had his face to face, drug screening and DOT physical and never heard another word out of them.

I am working. Will not quit until I am hired. Something must have not went well for him to get that far and not be hired.

I got a backhaul after my unofficial unpaid vacation. 8 days off, and it isn't hurting me too bad, but it is good to be behind the wheel again. I picked up a load out of Jacksonville going to Houston for Wednesday morning.
