there are many out of state drivers that bring their personal vehicle down. There is probably a registration sticker he needs to get or at least get permission. He can ask Jerry when he's doing his orientation. The hotel Poly uses provides shuttle service so he can ride with them until he finds out

SS is correct. Tell your hubby to ride the shuttle to orientation & tell Jerry he wants to register his car to park on premises.

I am delivering in Blaine tomorrow morning. Snoqualmie was chained up this morning but clear by this afternoon. 84 east is closed to trucks past troutdale due to a landslide, so it looks like I will be chaining over snoqualmie Monday afternoon or Tuesday too.

Don't be so sure. The WaDOT app has changed the forcast 3 times in the last 24 hours. It was up to 3 feet of total snow for this storm...now it doesn't show any amount...I really think they are like Crete's load planner system and have monkeys throwing darts at a dartboard...making uneducated guesses...but we are talking about ma' nature...and you know what they say about a certain gender changing their minds (haha)

Either way, wave at the westbound Polys. I am planning on being one of them, headed for a Wednesday morning delivery in Seattle

Chemster, I just checked the ORdot app. It says 1 lane open, passenger vehicles only...expeted to be cleared today or tomorrow. Before you truck across Snoqualmie...you may want to check. Sounds like they are faster at clearing landslides than the NC/TN dot when the gorge falls in.

Ok, sounds good. I don't know what my backhaul is yet, but I told them I would be empty at 10am tomorrow. BTW, I pulled a cottage grove out here last week and was over on my pm. Aaron bumped my miles to get me out of the gate. Backhaul then sent me a treetop load back down to Henderson. I called outbound and told them I needed to get back to GP for a PM. Carl called then and said he had nothing but this Blaine. I called Aaron to get my miles bumped yet once again and told him by the time I get back to GP, I would be 7 to 8k over my service depending on the route they send me back. He told me to take it to speedco in N Las Vegas. Took all of 30 minutes to do my PM.
i see you may be in same boat as me. If they send you to Henderson, call Aaron and see if they will let you service it in N Las Vegas.

I kinda asked him to set up a Speedco back after I left UPN the first time, expecting a load out of there to IN would result in a round trip...but he didn't agree. But...here I am heading out of UPN on a second load headed to the NW...maybe he'll believe me next time. I have to pull out my last pm inspection sheet. The little plastic reminder tag got lost on that 1st deep freeze we had a month or so ago...so I'm not really sure how far over I am. I know I am more than 2400 over. When I left GP for my last hometime I had 3700 before it. I turned in 5300 miles by last Friday and I have run over 800 since then with another 8-900 to go before final delivery. I still think this 15,000 mile service deal is a little excessive. With the extended filters available and the improved oil technology...25-30k would still keep these trucks on the road longer than the keep them in the fleet...but hey, it's not my truck or my money...so.........

I just read that you guys don't get to pick your loads on back hauls. One of my main reasons for applying to Poly is that I don't want to drive in the NE so much anymore. Do you end up going NE on a lot of your back hauls?
