Nope. Backhauls are what get us back in the direction of our production facilities, normally (which are in TX, MN and NV). This time of year you might have a longer route getting you back, like I had the other week where I went from south TX to IN then from IN to MN(where our plant is located). I think JD had one rare time last year where he was in the NW and his backhaul took him to NJ, but that very rare. The loads that get you to the NE are the Outbound, 99.9% of the time, and you can refuse Outbound loads.

I've been here just over 5 months and MI or OH is as far northeast as I've been. I've had many Outbound offers to NY and MA, but have passed mostly because a load to the NW was also offered, and even though the NW results in me getting my paperwork turned in past the cuttoff for the following weeks check, I would sooner skip a check and carry those miles over to the following week than go to the NE.

WADot has changed the Snoqualmie forecast again. As of right now, it's closed due to heavy snow and numerous spinouts. They also returned the snow accumulation to today and tonights forecast, which is over a foot of snow. After then it's just showers and snow and a snow level near the pass' altitide, no snow accumulation shown after tonights forecast

Edit...they just added Tuesdays snow estimates...7 to 14 inches.... It appears that it's anybodys guess and 'wait until you get there' type situation.

Edit #2...ORDot app shows 84 open to all vehicles with the right lane closed between mm60 and mm61 for the landslide. Estimated to be cleared by noon today.

Again SS is correct. There are rare occasions that we will pickup in the NW & go all the way to the NE. But I certainly don't mind. Miles=$$$

In GP... for face to face. They called to see if I might need a hotel. I don't. But glad they called. Red team here I come. Hoping they have orientation next week. So I can relax for the week in DFW. :)

My husband starts orientation tomorrow! He's at the hotel now getting some rest after looking at houses with our realtor for the past 6 hours, lol.

Quick question. The 8000/month minimum...is that in writing anywhere? Like a handbook, maybe? I ask because our mortgage lender wants something stating he has to put in so many miles. Thanks!
