I look at the my favorite trucking company posts a lot. We make far more with less stress then 99% of the companies on this forum. And with the majority of them a lot more. It would be nice if they all knew that.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

You can lead a horse to water......LilRobWayne Thanks this. -
Outbound called this morning. They only had one load left for Wednesday. A load to Greenfield, IN for Friday. But he said exactly what I was thinking when he offered it...if I take it, I'm headed to UPN and won't make it home when I want...so, a first for me, I passed on the load and said I'll wait until Thursday. I will be glad when my 'honey-do list on steroids' jobs are done and I can go back to my usual...go anywhere anytime, run 'til I drop...self. But I can't complain, after this load, I will be close to 22k for the year by the 26th of February...and had 8 days off.
Also, as I was approaching the exit where I was going to spend the night...like Monkey1's truck, my loaner truck shut down on the interstate...with the little triangle and an 'engine warn' message....it has 329500 miles on it. Maybe it also needs a new DPF. My oil pressure at 1500 rpm was 20psi..oil temp was normal, engine temp was fine. I wonder if maybe it's a sending unit on the oil pressure. It didn't sound any different than a normal ISX.. -
So, I know it's early, but does he like it so far? -
ive noticed my oil pressure has been about 25 , used to always run at 35 thought it was the warm weather but im back in the cold and it appears it is droppin closer to 20', im home now so will see how much it drops after, also my triangle has always come but when i turn truck off it doesnt come on sometimes for days, 2010 323k cummins the psi is at top speed

Replace oil filter. I was told its the oil they use that clogs the filter and we need to replace sooner. Oil pressure hits 20 and truck just stops.
againstthewind and Zangief Thank this. -

Ok you guys, I'm finally taking the plunge. My application is ready to be faxed tomorrow, with one exception. In the section where they ask about any accidents we have had, do we have to go back more than 10 years?
Other than that section, my application is ready to go. I'm crossing my fingers that they will accept me.
A big THANKS goes out to everyone who has contributed to this thread. It has been a huge help. -
Why did you pick Zangief? The only one worse then that was that sumo wrestler. Oh snes, what a great time that was.
