So which one pulls better?

 

3458 I had wasn't a maxforce. I think I might switch back to It. This 3356 doesn't seem Ty of revenue while driving. I see a report in here they just replaced the egr. But this truck seems kinda weak.

 

On one hand they are giving me a newer truck and on the other I've replaced almost all the problem parts on the one I have. So if I switch and I have issues with a truck with less power then I'd feel really stupid. Apu is not a big deal. I just idle in summer and have a inverter. Will just have to worry every now and then about a ticket. Dallas by the way is one of those places when its 100 degrees outside heads to the truckstops and hands out tickets. Aint cheap. Unless you got a dog or cat. Maybe a goldfish. Then you can idle all day long.

 

Talked with driver and he still has a job and they were not in the trailer, but in the midroof cubbyhole.

I spoke to Tony about it, he said the same thing. And he said that is the second driver here that had that happen. He said the driver picked up at Daltile and stopped at the Peelot long enough to scale. He said the handcuffs are SOP until they determine that the driver isn't involved. Sounds like I need to buy a big squirt bottle and fill it with amonia...before I pull out spray amonia in the opening...no coughing, it's empty...better yet pepper spray, it won't hurt the paint.

 

Glad to hear it was stowaways instead of cargo.

 

I have a backhaul already, but the broker won't give me any of the info until I am empty. I could lie and say 'yes, I am empty', but karma will seize the opportunity to bite my butt if I do. It picks up in Jackson, AL going to Garland, TX. I can't even get the pickup customer or delivery date/time so I can call Outbound. Coyote...I was warned about them from other drivers.

An odd thing is happening to my truck now...got it out of the shop, my a/c now works without sounding like a dying whale, it pulls much better (they replaced the DPF) and doesn't smoke, but it sounds like I have an exhaust leak and the odd part, when I use the dash buttons to adjust the sleeper temp...it stays adjusted for maybe 5 minutes, then reverts back to the setting on the dial in the sleeper...I know, don't complain...at least it's working up front.

 

note to self, call customer and see about making delivery appt even if broker says its fcfs, i should kno better.

 

backhaul told me they got me layover pay on broker load that i cant unload till morn, do i need to put anything in with paperwork
