The last time I moved I swore if I ever had to do it again, I would pack the clothes, the photo albums, a tote or two of memories...and leave the rest for the new owners.

What most people fail to do when they get a gps is to update the database. Most of the gps' on the market have a year or two old map database. I got lifetime updates and wait until I get to my wifi at home and update a couple times a year..I was suprised on how many roads get changed or added in that time.

It's one of the loads they often times have trouble getting drivers to take. It's passed on so many times until it's one of the only loads left. By the time it goes so far down the list it has no time left on it. It's usually a Home time load for me. They load it up early and let me sit on it for a few days. I've done it like 10 or 12 times and had a wide variety of Backhauls on it. Anyways, sounds like you got it there just fine once again. Guess it worked out ok for you quite nicely this time as well. Take care out there.

If those are the trip sheets that are in the drivers lounge then they are NOT new. Those are the old forms. I guess they decided to try and get rid of those since they are low or out of the normal trip sheets. Tony said they are just fine to use. No need to add anything from what you normally do on the other trip sheets. He did say they were looking to come out with new forms but they are NOT out yet. Hope that clears things up on them a little for you. Thanks for trying to give us a heads up on them. :)

Just wanted to say thanks again to all who posted tips about places to try out in Henderson/Vegas. I ended up trying the Fiesta casino there in Henderson. Plenty of nice truck parking. Easy in and out place for me and the truck. I was able to book a good rate on a room and stayed there two nights for $58 which included a free Buffet and movie ticket. I enjoyed my time there. The Casino wasn't something on the strip but it's not a dump either. The slots weren't kind to me and I felt they were a little tight in general since I didn't see many folks winning much. I did win some money at the Sports Book and even won some money on the Keno they have there. I played 3 numbers on Keno and they uncommonly hit quite a few times. I won enough at Keno to cover my Slot Machine losses so that helped me enjoy my stay a little more. I also enjoyed my free Movie deal. I felt like the theatre there was/is quite nice. Anyways, I'm sure I'll try the Fiesta again some time. If any of you think of trying it just shop around on the room rates. They vary all over the place depending on what's going on in town. They can be $28 one night and $110 the next night. Book ahead as much as possible and save even more.
My trip out was very good. Ran a Sumner from Henderson and the weather was great the whole way out and back. My BackHaul was a Tree Top load of juice going to Sulphur Springs,Texas. Completed it all just fine. Now on the yard waiting for a load home for a few days. Hope all of you are doing well out there and thanks for all the Posts. Been some good reading on here from many of you. Take care out there. :)

I just saw they were different. I guess they use to have a company called CDI(or something like that) do work on the trucks before Fleetnet becase there is a seperate section for just repairs and it has a reference to CDI doing the work. Plus the 'type of load' section kinda threw me a bit as well.

I usually have to wait for the load time when they offer it, but to be honest, I've only had one load that needed the load time bumped up on it and it was the 1st load I pulled to get me home after orientation to pick up my stuff.

I've always had good luck for the most part with it. Although I haven't had the pleasure of going to Del Monte in Topeka for a backhaul yet. I've heard that they are a fun place to load out of.

Megan called me today. She told me to go ahead and fill out the online app on the webpage and she would get started on it. Just sent it off and confirmed that she received it.
