Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

I actually found a thread on TTR about it...it happened late last year, but the thread is confusing...some say they work there and Star is leased to Swift (kinda like the companies that lease to Prime) while other posts say that it was a buyout...and I didn't find out about the blue Star going to Covenant until recently...where have I been living?...time for me to get a bigger rock to live under, one with a Dish Network hookup....

 

I managed to top 65gig last billing cycle on my data...even with a week at home. I am gona rename my phone...from now on it isn't a Note 3...it's a Dyson Cyclonic Mach 3...the ultimate in data vacuums

 

WOW...No way I could come close to using that much data. You must use a lot of things that hog data. My plan isn't unlimited on data so I try and stay clear of the data hogs. I do have unlimited talk and text and I certainly get my money's worth out of those two.

 

Slacker radio(thru my phone), Netflix (via my WiFi Blueray bounced off my phone), a tablet(bounced off my phone), and a laptop...although I haven't turned on the laptop in quite a while. Plus I use this phone like a tablet. I am shooting for 100gig before the end of the year...if anyone parks near me, watch out...if I kick the Dyson on high, it's liable to suck the data off your phone too

I am also getting ready to hook up a wifi router only configured as a repeater so I can use the "Allshare" option on my phone. Then use the Dish Network app to pull shows off my home dvr thru my phone to my truck...I love technology...when it works that is.

Dont know if this is a good sign or just another app to be processed and thrown into a pile .

For me its very exciting to imagine that i may never have to go to California again .

( Unless you've spent time in Cali , you might not be able to relate to that sentiment)

 

Just got off the phone with backhaul...finally. Pick up in Indy deliver to Rochester, MN anytime Thursday then to Up North. I was beginning to wonder if my empty time got put in correctly. It was 1 minute before 5pm central time. Plus I am on Thursdays UPN board...whew

 

I know I sure don't miss going there...pretty state but, there are plenty of less annoying states that are just as pretty.

 

Are you still getting the Crete discount on your Verizon?

 

I never got it. When I renewed my contract last they were only giving us AT&T discounts. When they started giving us an option for Verizon, Verizon said I had to upgrade to change the account to take advantage of it, and that was after they were killing off the unlimited data plans so I didn't upgrade.

 

I should be a recruiter for Poly, I'm in Minnesota now and met a OTR driver that works out of ......... Cottage Grove. He's making 37 cents now. But he runs a lot of miles.
