I saw an ad today for poly trucking at the J in knoxville. 48cpm and hub miles. About time some companies are paying fair.

 

Well, I am in Houston. 2pm and the east side Love's and Peelot were full. Since I am delivering less than 2 miles away, I didn't feel like heading all the way to Baytown...so I actually got a motel room a couple exit away...a/c, WiFi and cable tv.

 

Check you out....splurging for a hotel room. Must be nice to afford one. I've gotten one for a night the last three weekends.

I use this app on my phone. It has a section called Hotel4Truckers that will give some hotels with truck parking plus some codes for discounts.

 

Yeppers. Used it...got a 20% discount...when they ran down the list of charges, the code they said to use came back as an AARP number, but they gave it to me anyway. Sometimes gray hair has it's benefits

Just got a message from my wife. My 4th grandchild, my grandson, was born this a.m. 9lb 12oz...don't know where these butterball's get their size...all my family (bro's, sis', niece's and nephew's)and my son-in-law's family were all in the 6lb range. This is my daughters 2nd 9+ pounder
