GA to NJ, not that far for the long haul walmart drivers.

Kevin Roper, 35, of Jonesboro, Georgia, was charged in Middlesex County, New Jersey, with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault after the Wal-Mart tractor trailer he was driving crashed into a limousine van whose occupants included Morgan. A comedian traveling with the former “Saturday Night Live” television star was killed. James O’Neill, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office, said he couldn’t disclose why charges were filed against Roper, adding that the information remains part of the investigation. O’Neill said in an e-mail that it’s “not routine” to make an arrest in a traffic accident of this sort.

 

i ran nj an ny for the last 6 yrs thats why im at poly now, had to get out of there before that was me, just picked up there fri and it reminded me why i left, also why i didnt drive for walmart up there. we could go on about elogs and safety but that debate is in another forum lol

Long haul Walmart? They have regional, and occasionally they transfer product from a d/c in one region to a d/c in another, hence the reason they put d/c's within 150 miles of each other in populated areas of the country. From his hometown to that area is almost 900 miles. Not sure which d/c Jonesboro is assigned to.

 

I heard at my pick up at a Walmart produce DC here in Colton Ca it was a Walmart trailer being pulled by an England truck.

I've seen the pics. It was unmistakable as a WM company tractor.

 

I stand corrected, without going into detail I should have know better.

 

I have met walmart drivers that drive from longbeach ca, to east of the rockies...

also met walmart drivers that pull out of the houston port to the east coast....

not all walmart trucks do dc to stores... they seem to want the common carriers doing those runs.

 

anyone kno what this clacking is coming from on truck? sounds like a pully or the fan, only does it when it rains and when im parked not driving, even does it after truck wash when i start it up but stops after running a bit.
