That's the place I was at that sucked so bad. I'd feel for ya' but I can't reach ya'. Did they tell you that you were late for your appointment too? Most of the drivers that were stuck beside me were told that when I was there (late according to the shipper)

Got a load, even though I don't deliver until morning. Up North to Effingham. That's right, I got an Effing load of Effing plastic going to Effing Sherwin Effing Williams in Effingham Effing IL...and I am Effing loving it. It Effing delivers first Effing thing Wednesday Effing morning. It'll put me at 1600 Effing miles. Out-Effing-standing

I'm currently experimenting with expanding my runs .
PGP is ground zero , I keep going a little further out each time.
Trying to avoid NE and not sure about the PacNW .
Orientation cautioned me on taking NW runs during fair weather
then dodging the PacNW when winter comes and it's time to chain up.
i think I'm going to be the SE Regional dude
Anything below the 36th parallel :)
so far it's playing out to be 2600 a week +\_

I ran the NW all winter...chained up...now can't beg, borrow or steal a load out there...but I'm still payin my dues.

the one thing about running out west, it is 4-5000 miles by the time you get back to GP...but it is in 2 weeks, so you have to be prepared to skip a check since you don't get back in time to turn in paperwork

Yep , it all sort of averages out

I'd like to make enough to take some home time without worrying about my 8 k average
