I am going to have a chat with a mental health professional. I have moved out of my Cummins powered Prostar and back into one powered by Maxxfarce...I have more storage cabinets, but less hanging, under bunk and tool box storage...but, I no longer have to buy an inverter because this truck has a factory inverter and hard wired outlets...and I get rid of that crappy ClimaCab and am back in an International with a factory no idle battery HVAC...that so far seems to be much better...I hope I didn't make a huge boo boo.

And, like JD said, even with the truck issues, I still love it here.

A few nice days off in Vegas. Made some $$$ in the poker games, found a house to rent and got hooked up with a Blaine load followed up by a p/u in Tangent, OR heading back to near Baton Rouge. Should hit the mythical 4K mile 7 day barrier by the time I am sitting in New Roads, LA on Thursday night if everything goes off without a hitch. Just finished off a perfectly grilled rainbow trout and fixings while watching some fireworks in Buhl, ID. Good start to the week.

You can take an Outbound load down to Laredo if you want. They almost always have loads going down there. I usually do two or three a year during the winter months.

Good luck. I start orientation Tuesday. If you make it through the application and phone interview, they'll fly you to Grand Prarie, TX for, in the following order, DOT physical, a written 50 question test and an interview with the HR manager. I know his name, but would not even attempt to spell it without his card in front of me. The 50 question test is rather strange for a truck driving job, but I liked it. I thought it was fun, lol. I finished most of it and would have finished if I had a couple of more minutes. It's timed and you only have 12 minutes to work on it.

SS, I got my ProStar in Nov '12. It has the battery APU with hard wired electrical plug ins. It currently has 219k miles and other than the EGR issue last month and an exhaust tube that broke/plugged up and cost me two days of down time, it has been a good truck. It even out pulls most trucks. I hope it continues to perform well and hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.
