You do know there's an online way of transferring trucks on the prepass sight?

The only thing is, they have to have the cab card on file for it to work, otherwise you have to fax that in to them

You can get one on day one...you have to cover the cost.

i did my last two trucks over the phone. This last time I asked about if there was an online way and he pointed this out to me. They just need all of the information on the cab card. I never had to actually send it in. :dontknow:

It was a real PITA the other day at the Cheyenne POE. There were 3 people behind the desk, 2 were selling oversize permits, and the 3rd was on the phone setting up another oversize permit for a driver before he got there. It was at least 15 minutes and the line was out the door, and the lot was full.

They told us (orientation guys) what happened to the truck you're talking about. But, if Tony said "not at liberty", then I'm certainly not going to blab it on a forum. But, from what the told us, I'm not sure what the big secret would be. Probably just standing orders from legal department.

    P.s. I got a 2012 International with 219k on the clock. That's not too bad I guess.

Just a heads up , be extra careful on the Poly GP property , the place is as big as an airport and cars fly out of nowhere on that lot .
One might think they are trying to get airborne or something .

i almost got nailed on my first week .
Had a driver the other day almost get nailed while he was
walking across the lot on foot .

    good luck

Not too bad, my 1st truck was a 2010 with 220k, and I found out why the miles were so low...my 1st 3 or 4 months it was in the shop as much as it was on the road. Even though it was a shop hanger, I had 298k on it when I got out of it last week. Considering the fact that I estimate that I was in loaners for over 2 of the 9 months I had it, 78k wasn't bad. When I switched to this 2013, it had 211k, so I am hoping most of the serious stuff that normally goes wrong with these Maxxforce engines has already been fixed and I have some trouble free miles to enjoy.

Can you imagine what it was like before they built the truck entrance? All traffic use to have to use the front gate. Some of the drivers that have been here a while say it was a real fuster cluck, especially at shift change.
