Have you ever accidentally blown by a fuel stop and had to go off the beaten path further down the road to fuel ?

i missed my fuel point in Ga , after I got my load in LaGrange , and had to detour up 65 to Clinton to get some diesel

I had to use an approved stop the other day that was off route .

Wonder why they don't let us just fuel at the J or Pilot ?

Price and discounts... and since Pilot has a history of not paying the discounts to companies, I can see why Poly does not use them.

    Mev Thanks this.

If the Flying Peelots would give me unlimited showers and coffee after 1000 gal purchased, I would use them more since many times they have better selection of heart attack inducing, diabetes causing, fast food...and laundry facilities at most locations. But, they don't, so Loves gets my business.

Not sure what the problem was. You went a little out of a normal route...as long as you're not over 10% of Rand McNally or Google Maps miles, Poly really doesn't care what route you take or why you took it (as long as it wasn't doing something illegal). That's one of the perks of working here...

    Supersnacker,

what number was your old truck. They gave me 3794, but it got changed today because there is something wrong with it that requires ordered parts. Now I have 3473, but haven't seen it yet.

I had 3450...3794? That's a new truck...and it's waiting on parts? I think 3473 is bigcats old truck. The one that left him in Laredo...or maybe his was 3493...I forget. He told me what number but I have the attention span of............oh.....look at the kitty......now what was I talking about????? :biggrin_25520:

Well the attempt to fax my Prepass info from my phone hadn't worked as of 5pm Prepass time...so I used the info Joe posted and successfully changed it myself. Thanks Joe. I saw that 'add equipment' when I was looking for the forms to fill out. I didn't think that was what I needed until I tried it...but adding the new truck, reassigning my existing transponder and deleting the old truck took a bit of work, but it was still faster than waiting on Prepass to do it.

I didn't know you could do it online, I've always just called customer service and done it on the phone. Usually about 10 minutes was all. Have had to do it a couple times in the last 6 months. Not the best luck with trucks lately.

I didn't know either until Joe posted a link. Wasn't faster than 10 minutes, but you do the same thing that the customer service guy does.

I just tested my a/c in the newly assigned unit I have. On the way to Houston today, it started smelling musty (like when it is starting to go out). I held the sensor for my outside thermometer in front of the vent, when it hit 40 degrees...I knew it wasn't the problem. So, I pulled the passenger side aeroskirt off, and squeezed the drain kazoo...and a mass of bleeeechk popped out, followed by a gallon or two of water...now it's freezing me out in Houston on fan speed 2.
