Unloaded in Pasadena this afternoon then went to Pol-Tex for a GP backhaul. Stopped at the Loves in Cleveland(TX) for a much needed shower and decided to call it a day. I'll be back in GP sometime tomorrow and will be there till Saturday morning. Then I'm off to Kissimmee,FL for Monday morning. After my arrival in GP I've got to go for my DOT physical. After that, who knows...the Rangers are in town.

I wish I knew what I was doing after I empty tomorrow. I called backhaul just to make sure that the broker sent the change of loads like he said he did (and he did) but no clue as to what they have in store. I hope it's a Pol-tex load so I can get these miles paid this week.

    I'm sorry, I typo'd. The first truck was 3497, not 3794. Lol

well id like to say im workn hard but i broke down in KC, after about 6 days in a motel i decided to fly home and take time off, been home for about 12 days, sitting by a campfire now in lake george, ny, my nephew got to meet james murrey from the tv show impractical jokes while we were eating out, ive never seen the show but he sure was excited. look forward to flying back into KC and heading up to c/g for an outbound, like they say on here poly isnt for everyone and at the moment i cant complain.

been here 7 mths and have been to all states but ME,RI and Florida, its only my experience here but it seems the hardest places to get to are the southeast and southwest. if u live in these areas then u will prob get there more often when u request to go home.

Your memory isn't that bad yet. Haha. Just one number off. My old truck was 3474. I seen it the last time in GP, so it's back and running again, for now. Ha.

Funny thing, I was paroozing my bookmarked news web sights this a.m. when an advertisement caught my eye on the CNN sight.

We're advertising on the big boys news sight. Are we having that hard of a time recruiting thru the mini mags or on trucking jobs websites?

They musta intimidated the *bleep* out of you in orientation. I have been here 10 months w/o a single point. Run legal, run safe, run within the 10% mileage limit and you're safe. They had some guys point out lately, but they started getting really serious about speeding tickets and equipment issues resulting in CSA points. (They were always serious, but started being more aggressive about reducing infractions). Which usually means something new is coming down the regulatory pipeline and they are just preparing us for it in advance.

    Mev and jdrentzjr Thank this.
