The only thing they promised me is an opportunity to earn a living...it was up to the economy, our customers and most importantly my motivation to decide how good a living I make...the tools are here, it's all in how you use them that determines the outcome.

Outbound called. I had a choice. It was 2 OH loads or 2 PA loads. I am taking one of the OH loads. M&P down near Mansfield. The other was on the eastern PA border.

I just got called , PM first , then on the board for Saturday out of PGP . ( Says they want to get me some miles , since last week blew so bad )

Tony was grabbing drivers as they walked to the snack room and taking us back out to our trucks
to do Pre Trip Insp. Drills .
    I passed , I didn't have to do any push-ups or anything .

A few drivers fled before he could grab them :biggrin_2559:

Well bummer! The wife was supposed to drive up here for a couple of days, but the weather and home renovations got in the way. So now I'm at the La Quinta chillin'. Truck went into the shop at 0530 this morning for a PM and was done by 0930 with no extra work to be done. So I called outbound to change my PTA from Saturday to Friday and got a load going to Plainfield,CT for Monday.

Haven't been on here in a while. I have been running good the last few weeks. I sitting down in Baytown now, taking a 34. Been on recap hrs for the past week. Picking up a Pol Tex load early in the am. My outbound load is a 3 stopper in PA that will be ready in the AM. Have to say that i've only been here 3 months, but I sure do love it here.

Like all of the guys say, they give you the tools and the opportunity to make a good living here. Very happy I made the move here.

Outbound offered me a trade !
Gave up my Valdosta load for a Cheyenne load.
    I'm still fishing for a 3K week :)

PGP can be a downer , definitely be glad to get out of here on Saturday.

I got a surprise when I got to UPN. My previous load (the 3 stopper to NM)that I thought had been reassigned to another driver ended up still being available...and still assigned to me. Earlier in the day, when I accepted the OH load, they said they were gonna push it up for loading today instead of tomorrow. So when I checked in, the guard said my load was ready, and gave me my trailer number. I hooked up to the trailer (which was parked right next to the shipping door), walked in and gave them my new trip number...and he said it wasn't ready...when I told him that I had already been given my trailer number and was hooked up...he looked thru the stack of ready loads, and sure enough, my original load ending in Clovis was on that trailer...and the load sheet had my name on it. So I called Outbound and got it reassigned to me and removed me from the OH load. So, now I am heading to MO, OK and NM again. If I had known, I wouldn't have stopped at the truck stop and waited for a phone call. I turned in my load that finally delivered this morning. I have already passed the 8000 mile mark...and burned thru 115 gig of data.
