.48 cpm and hub miles...that's not bad if the trips are decent.

No love from back haul today. Target in Midway, GA was in a good mood and got me out in a couple hours. I checked my DAT load board app, not much from this area going to TX.

Same here in Villa Rica, GA. No call from backhaul and there are 2 other Poly trucks been here all day also.

From there it's a short hop to LaGrange, and I was minutes from Riceboro. I wonder what's up. Guess freight rates are up and brokers are having trouble getting freight booked fast enough. Why can't this happen when I am sitting at home?

From my DAT load board app, it appears that this area is a good place to come if you're pulling a flatbed. 99% of the loads within 200 miles are flatbed loads.

Well, the other 2 Poly trucks were gone when I got up this morning. So, they both had loads yesterday. Kinda stinks that I was the only one without, but at least I'm the only one waiting now. Haha!

    They pay .48 cpm
    for a reason

    I'd research the message board
before jumping in bed with Poly ,
Every dogs has fleas , and this
    puppy's got some monsters
    crawling around that
    must be over looked
in order to keep ones sanity.
( Maintenance and poor equipment is what I'm referring to)

But if you can rise above
    the bull poop , it's a paycheck
    for a time.

i still manage to stay above 2k a week

    tucker Thanks this.

Called back haul. I have a probable back haul, but they're waiting on the load specifics before dispatching it to me. Pulaski, TN to the DFW area. The only thing I know about in Pulaski is Lays 'tater chips unless there is some recycling stuff to bring in. We're talking 500 miles of deadhead so there must be some major freight shortages in broker-land.

Update...backhaul called. Dublin, GA to Hutchins, TX. Didn't seem to know anything about a Pulaski, TN load. He must have looked up the wrong truck the 1st time so bigcat, you might be headed to Pulaski

There must be. I've called and left message. I understand if they are having a problem getting a backhaul, but at least send me a message or call back. Not communicating with the driver isn't the way to handle it.
