Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Sitting in Lorena tx waiting for approval to move. Got passenger side bent landing gear in Jarrell tx flying j truck stop. Ughhhhh. didn't even know till a driver told me over the cb. Drop in GP then pick up going to Rockford IL.

 

Got in and out of GP...... on way to Rockford then off to UP Noth.

 

My original assessment of my trucks problems was incorrect. I guess it just wanted to run right for a day or two. Today, all was well until I was on my way out of Portlandia...then it all started over again. Some hills along the river in OR I was down 2 or 3 gears w/42,000 lbs. Cabbage..25mph. Most of the rest of the steeper climbs across I-84 20ish mph. I have had enough of this junk...I saw my old truck in WA, and the driver said it's a loaner now...and it'll be back in GP on Sunday. I will put in a call to Tony and see if he'll swap me back. I will gladly give up this inverter equipped, Maxxfarce powered POS for my old Cummins powered ClimaCab truck. I am really starting to believe that Crete (with all their faults) had much better equipment and a slightly better maintenance department...Sorry for the negative rant, but I do believe my 'give a ####' tanks are bone dry, and I ran out of give a #### this morning.

 

Not going good for me. The surging and squealing suddenly stopped and I had power...most of the time, but just before Albuquerque the temp started climbing because the engine fan quit. And on these useless pos Maxxfarce engines when they quit, they don't lock engaged like on a Cummins or a Detroit. I managed to get pulled over before it shut down...cooled it off but it got red hot again before I got thru town. So, now I wait on Fleetnet. Not sure if the two problems are connected or not, but I am hotter than my truck right now. If Enterprise rent-a-wreck was open, I would be loading up and heading home.

Somebody somewhere must be having a good September.

 

I'm sitting outside Indy. I deliver in Greenfield in the morning. I'm in a different loaner. My other loaner was having headlight troubles. GP was at it again. My load was 7 hrs late getting loaded yesterday. Sure do need more people working on the weekends.

 

They sent a local mechanic to look at my truck...who looked at my truck and gave me directions to the International dealer here in town. But by the time I got the news, it was after my 14 ended, and late in the day so no parking at the T/A here in Albuquerque. So, I went across the street to the Super8. I report to the International at 7 a.m. THIS SUCKS

 

Hope they get you up and running soon.

Turned 3049 miles in 5 days and sitting back at home again for a reset. Got a decent loaner I hope as she has been running good thus far from GP to Henderson. Probably heading back out on Tuesday.

 

Sucks??
Being stuck in Walter White's hometown, I would be taking the whole tour, his house, car wash, Los Pollos, and finish the day with a great big pizza
