Had a new record for a PM. Under 3 hrs yesterday. Couldn't hardly believe it and it still runs good. I stayed at the LA Quinta Inn last night. Sure is a nice place and we get a good discount. Loaded up this morning and heading to Beaver Dam, WI. Should be nice and warm up there.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Hi everybody !!
I am new to this forum first time I've ever posted on here. I am an OTR driver who absolutely loves driving, I'm in my 7th year of driving, and I'm very super happy and grateful to say I recently got the job offer to start my orientation with Poly and I'm very very excited to be on board!!
I've heard lots of great things about Poly and I am truly hoping this'll be the driving job where I will stay until I reach retirement !!
I just wanted to say hello and that any and all words of wisdom from you seasoned poly drivers out there would be highly appreciated. Also, I was wondering if any of you current Poly drivers are cigarette smokers like myself? I understand from what I've been told Poly has a strict non smoking policy while on the company property but once we have our assigned truck and drive away it is ok for those of us who smoke to smoke in the truck..? Was just wondering if I could confirm that with any drivers who smoke.. Also wondering if during my orientation days there's any chance I may have the opportunity to go off property on a break and have a cig real quick on a break or if I need to be prepared to go all day without one...? Gonna bring some nicotine gum with me just in case, hahaha. Like I said, I'm super happy to be on board with poly and hoping for a happy successful long term career here !! Been hoping to work here ever since I first heard about Poly two years ago !!
looking forward to working with you and meeting everyone !!
thank you
