If anyone is interested in switching user names for Pilot wifi let me know via message. I am going to sign up for 1 month at Loves this afternoon and could trade that info to you for return Pilot wifi use. #### Verizon says I have already used 2 gigs in 2 days doing nothing basically. Fixing to give those guys the axe.

it is also the load that one of our drivers got hurt on when a roll pushed the doors open and landed on him when he was trying to open them both because he had one of those trailers that had the seals overlapping tight enough you can't get just the right one open by itself.Mev Thanks this. -

Well #### Werner driver backed smooth up in to me while waiting to get loaded here in Bellingham. Didn't do a whole lot of damage, cracked grill in a few places and part of the bumper cracked. More just pain in the ### paperwork associated with it. At least the officer wrote him a ticket for improper backing so he didn't get off scot free.

I got a call from the insurance company of that car that hit me in Nov. Not sure how they got my home phone number. I never gave it to anyone involved, and the number is listed in my wife's maiden name. Turns out, they're not getting voice mail's answered either... are we sure there are actual people that work upstairs? Or did they outsource it and the calls we get are coming from a very clever actor in India pretending to be Poly operations personnel....hmmmm...and the people we see coming and going aren't really employees, just actors paid to walk by on their lunch break from other gigs...

The only thing that has hit my truck more than Werner drivers is wild deer and the tally is 3 to 2
Managed to salvage the day ok I suppose. At least made it back to Chehalis. Some real swanky plywood on board, didn't realize they made plywood out of mahogany. -
Uggggggg. Tried to call the broker today about my back haul...voice mail. Headed for shipper anyway since I know where it is and there is a Peelot and McD's where I can stop and call them when the get in. I think I am doing good, headed around Atlanta at 8 am, and only a minor stow down at the 85-to-285 jct. Rolled speed limit all the way to LaGrange. Pull in the McD's, call the broker...someone has already called in on that load....call back haul #1...voice mail, call back haul #2...voice mail...etc...etc...etc. after a bunch of calls, I leave a message on both. It's 9 am our time...and I am sitting here staring at the phone waiting/hoping for it to ring. (I know, spit in one hand, and hope in the other and see which fills up first) I hope this isn't how the year is going to go for me!!!
*update...I got a q/comm message shortly after I left a message for back haul..."call the broker again, they have something else". I called the broker..."we're still waiting on paperwork, I'll call you when it is in" hours later, still waiting. I wonder how Poly would react to me deadheading 300 miles home for the weekend if I don't hear back from them soon. I am trying to keep a positive mindset here, but it's beginning to be a 'positive I am leaving to work for someone else' mindset.
*update 2...Poly just messaged me...they cancelled the load, looking for something else...at 3 pm eastern on a Friday...this truly may be my last regular day as a Poly driver. If they stick me here all weekend, they'll have to find a back haul out of FL to get me back to turn in my truck...'cause I'll go home, authorized or not...oh wait, it's only Thursday. Still not happy...my 2015 zen-like demeanor is already fading quick, and it's only the 1st week of the new pay rate.....ohmmmmmmmmmmm....ohmmmmmmmm...ohmmmmmmmm
*final update...got a replacement load...100 miles east of my delivery this a.m. The problem, I traveled to LaGrange expecting to pick up which is 100 west of my delivery...so now I turned a 100 deadhead into a 300 mile deadhead. And, if they don't like it, they can lump it...I have had enough for this week, and this year...now my passenger window won't roll down, my bunk hvac has 2 settings freezer and broiler and now this. I couldn't even get to the shipper because it took until my 13th hour to get me the new load...Last edited: Jan 8, 2015
