Yep, and we also got an hourly pay raise when we're doing local work as well.

Heading to Kansas City for a Friday delivery, and he said there is a TX bound backhaul already tentatively assigned. If it all delivers by Monday...I will have exceeded 9000 miles by the 3rd week. If this is the slow time...what's it going to be like when it's busy...

*correction...nearing 9000, not exceeding. It's been a while since I went to K/C...for some reason I was thinking it was a bit farther up there than it actually is.

Well, Verizon sucks. A few days ago their software update zapped my phone's sdcard. All my pic's, all my music, all my backup files...gone. Then overnight, another update forced its way onto my phone (without my permission)...now my tethering app doesn't work anymore. Sooooooo, the Note 3(a.k.a Dyson Data Vortex) is wiped clean and will be donated to my wife, and I am back on this piddly S3

My current employer just cut my pay by almost 20%. I love being home everyday, but i have to make a living. Don't really look forward to going back over the road, but if i must, I cant think of a better place to be than Poly. I already got a call from Rachael in HR and im golden if I want to come back. Im still holding out though on a few other local jobs first though.

Do you guys run into Florida much at all?? And if so do you end up sitting for a backhaul out of Florida or do they seem to have freight coming out of Florida??

Florida is a destination state(meaning loads finish there unlike say Tennesse) so home time to Florida is usually available on-demand. But, the further south you go, the higher the chances you wait for a back haul if you don't live down there. We've had drivers have to wait days after delivering to Miami...but I live there(up in the northern part)and have never waited for a backhaul. Most of the time you head to GA out of there for a load, but occasionally you get a load out of FL.
