No love yet from backhaul. This is getting to be a continuous problem...even on my regular 'safe and productive' runs.
*update
I got one of 'those' runs. Kinda like the run JD posted about a couple winters ago. I pick up in McCarren(Sparks-east) going to.......drum roll please.......Dover....freekin'.......DE. Great miles, something like 2700. That's on top of the 1850ish out to here. Then another 1500 or so back to Poly. So, the next paperwork I turn in will be 6000+ miles + 5 paid stops....but Deleware.....uuuuuugh...and thru the land of the major crash(a.k.a. Wyoming)....ugggggggghhhhhhhh again. Oh well, I knew it had to happen some time.Last edited: Apr 22, 2015

I basically run in a rectangle bounded by US15 to the west, the PA border to the north, the MD border to the south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. I'm a glutton for punishment... -
I wouldn't live anywhere close enough to that area to even consider running any kind of regional or local northeast....I, for one, say we formally apologise to the UK and give them some of the original 13 colonies back, at least from northern VA north...and throw in OH as a trade for GA...
Arkansas, mushroom1464 and whoopNride Thank this. -
Oh believe me, if it wasn't for my wife, I'd be out of here and living either down south or out west. She refuses to move out of the area, so I'm stuck.

Yeah they got me rolling. Basically they changed the oil filter and we're still getting the check engine light. So they figured out if they unplugged the Qualcomm the check engine light went off. So i basically sat for 5 days for an oil change.
Got a load out of Franklin pa headed to Houston tx. Loaded at 1500 Wednesday and delivers tomorrow at 1500.
I've been on this trip for exactly 14 days tomorrow And will have around 4600 miles to turn in. Not bad with taking a 34 reset and being broke down 5 days. Getting back into my truck tomorrow, hopefully dpf issues are fixed. -
I hope things don't get too much busier! I had my truck serviced 3/13...took a week off earlier this month and I am within a few hundred miles of needing service again...that's almost 15,000 in 37 days away from home. This load from Sparks to Dover is burning the ole' logbook down. Turned 675, yesterday, turned 696 today...will turn another 675+ tomorrow...plus I turned a 699 mile day last Monday trying to make up for the delay in shipping...Once I finish tomorrow, I will have logged 3900+ in 8 days...if it gets any busier...I may have to clone myself and run team with him like we use to do in the good ole' days
jdrentzjr Thanks this. -
