Yep getting 3000-3300 miles a week and get home when I ask to. Got a brand new 2016 Peterbilt with built in frig apu and inverter. No more worrying about truck breaking down every week.

    #####,whine,#####,whine everyday all day.
Now I know why a lot of companies won't hire ex owner
    Operators.
It's there company, there trucks, there money.
I made the move over here to poly about 5 weeks ago.
Ive met about 3 happy drivers out of the 20
I've talked to so far in Grand Prairie and out at the customers.

Way too many spoiled drivers here who have forgot
What it's like to pull general freight at most of the garbage companies that are out there.
This is the easiest money I ever made on the road.
You can put a grand in your pocket everyweek without breaking a sweat.

Here's my first month with poly, bring home pay

thats all legal and a bunch of 5 hour days mixed in there.
I haven't carried a tv with me in years, but I'm considering getting one because I got so much free time here.
I don't do restarts, I just keep rolling the hours over.
Haven't sat one day since I been here. If fact the keep
Calling me with more loads to do, I just don't have the hours to do them.
You could easily work a lot harder for a lot less money.
    This is country club trucking.

Having said all that I'm not picky about the loads.
I grab the longest one they offer me and run with it.
I run coast to coast, as long as the checks don't bounce
I'm going to get every penny I can out of this place.

    All Legal :biggrin_25514:

    1470.00
    1686.00
    2389.00
    0.0
    625.00
    2300.00
    0.0
    etc
    etc
(Low spots are breakdown / home time delays
or being out west in 'the loop' as its been labeled )

I take the earliest run on the board (am vs pm) , avoiding
Laredo or any of the loop back type runs , simply get my self
off the docks with a load and everything else flows from there
as if its on auto-pilot .
As far as the board goes , 95% of the time they call me
and place me on the board or have the b/h already set up.
Stay out 4-5 weeks then it home time , not bad for an out-of-state
    P-driver .

Heard the big whigs went to the truck show ,
not sure if its just entertainment or they are scoping
out some new rides for the future .
    Have to wait and see

When you talk a verb as in "there" it is there , when you talk a pronoun or "adjective" as in "their" it is their truck , their money , please help us to not look so uneducated ....
Thank you, I know we're drivers but lets not make it so obvious please.

You will have your moments that sneak up on ya. There will be times you get blind sided by policy. In 5 weeks you haven't had those opportunities yet. But you will , still it's not a bad road gig at all , the most challenging part of Poly is knowing where the pot holes are strategically located , and knowing when and where and how to side step them so they don't get ya one after another after another.
