Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Well , that guy won't be stealing any more motorcycles.

 

Gotta love the karma in such situations, however, someone innocent is usually involved, which is sad. About a month or so ago, a guy and a gal stole a quad in Hazleton, PA near the Humboldt Industrial Park. In their haste to flee the area, they took off at a high rate of speed down PA924 toward Hazleton city. They ran the red light for the I-81 get off ramp, and subsequently broadsided the drive tires of a semi turning off the ramp. Both were killed.

 

Exit 5 off of 93 make a right then a quick left. small restaurant you can park at

Exits 2 and 3 off 101 are closer and each has a small truck stop.

 

I don't remember which one of those but the one with dunkin donuts in it doesn't allow overnight parking

 

Pretty quiet in here all must be going well at the poly palace

 

Eeeehhhhh. For me, I thought I would give the thread a BMW break. I am running, just not knocking 'em dead.

 

Had the longest deadhead for a back haul this week. Just shy of 800 miles to pick up 1 of 2 stops. Can't really complain...they kept me rolling even if they didn't make a lot on the load. The broker even questioned their decision, thinking that perhaps they assigned the load to the wrong truck.

Plus I got to the yard in time to get my free driver appreciation chili-dog and diet soda today. I missed the hamburgers, that was yesterday.
