Used qcom Friday the 13th to put myself on Tues. O/B BOARD. Heard nothing on Monday to find out today he has nothing short to keep me busy and my load home won't leave until Friday the 20th. I'm told the loads that used to get me home are rare now. My question is are we contracting those out. He said possibly , I called a sup. and text him almost 3 hrs ago. No reply at all , best way to disrespect your drivers are to ignore them. Especially when you know they have to sit from Midnight Sunday to Friday morn in order to get home when he needs to after being out since 31st last month. If by chance Allen you see this you might want to ask downstairs if anyone cares one way or the other. Cause I get the impression they don't.

That's my BIGGEST ##### ever when driving. Just acknowledge me. Please. I understand you may not have anything for me, or that I may be stuck sitting a while. But don't be silent.

I was once very ill on the road and ended up pushing the emergency button on the Q and asking for an ambulance. Instead, I got crickets. I quit a week later.

The best way to get a fast reply is text him "I quit"...you'll get a reply, or more like a phone call within minutes.

I don't cry wolf unless there's a wolf. If I text him I quit there's little left to say at that point even if he does call me back. I use those words for when I have a start date for my next job. Until then I'll resort to leaving msgs in a tone that gets a reply not a cold shoulder.

Yeah, don't threaten to quit unless you are going to follow through. They could just tell you to come to the terminal and clean out your truck and get lost, even if you retract it.

When I texted my honest 2 week notice, he called with a tone like he was going to fix what ever was causing problems had I not already had another job lined up.

Phantazix...as fast as they're loosing drivers, they would try to talk you out of it 1st. Someone said we are down in the mid 200's for drivers now. That is around a 20% drop from what it was earlier this year. Not a good sign...

I think you may have said, but what company is this? It's alright if you choose not to say.

Poly. They were over 300 drivers, now, allegedly, they are in the 200's.

Or are you referring to the company I left Poly for. I moved to Magnum out of Fargo.

    Phantaztix and Loanerdude Thank this.
