Ive been getting the miles I want. Besides when I go home my last 3 weeks were $1600-$1700 gross. Because they changed the deadline I wasn't able to make cut off this week but I got 3950 miles turned in. They only had a new Braunfels load for Monday and I told them if I'm going to work over thanksgiving that I'm gonna need more than that.

I took it and they double dispatched me on a load to Charlotte delivering friday with Houston backhaul attached. Truck needed a dot inspection and ofc they found things wrong so I took a loaner. Ac died so I swapped into another loaner today. Yes it's annoying but as long as I'm making money I'm happy.

Met a Poly Driver last week at truck stop in SC, he had High praise for Poly. I happened to be headed for Chester SC. He told they where building a place there, I saw the construction near my delivery location. I'm currently a tanker driver but may consider the jump. Thanks and Merry Christmas to you all.....stay safe.

I went through my log books for the year just to get some estimated numbers for someone curious of what an average driver at poly is running. These are not exact numbers bUT they are as close as I care to try and come up with.
    Days driving = 266
    Days sitting/brokedown/reset = 26
    Days home = 73
    Miles drove= 116,158
    Gross Pay= 61,676

Loanerdude, Phantaztix, tucker and 2 others Thank this.

Yeah , if I wanted to spend more time behind the wheel , I'd be there with ya .
You are home about 6 days a month , I probably avg about 8.5 Per , maybe 9 , I'm glad you posted this , it reminds me I need to do the same for tax purposes. Been on a 3 week vacation ends next Monday. One project after another plus the travel over the Holidays and It might have slipped my mind had I not seen this. Be careful out there pounding the pavement.
