Was looking at my paystub today and as of 6/18/16 I'm at 60,500 miles and a couple dollars over 32k. Not to bad for me, seems pretty good especially compared to some of these other guys on here or that I've talked to at the terminal. Hope the rest of the year is like the first half.

I just looked approx 44,000 miles for the year as of the last pay stub

    Current downtime between loads floats
    from 3 to 4 days . ( sometimes 5 days but not often )

It's very slow on my end of things at Poly

I have learned the hard way that there are certain loads and certain parts of the country that are best avoided altogether , they are mileage killers .

44,000 for the year? And Pat-n-Martin aren't pitchin a fit? That's well below the 8000 they insist on. You're making me feel better about leaving with those kind of numbers

    28 Thanks this.

Yeah that's a big difference for me to have 16,000 more miles. I haven't gone west of i35 either. Seems like everyone's miles are all over the place.

Magnum sounds like a good place ....i keep up with the other thread.

Bottom Line: I did very good up until about 7 or 8 weeks ago
    ....then the bottom fell out.
I was close to Army guy in miles a while back....then Kablooey :violent2:

Everyone I've talked to at GP are generally pissed and their miles are worse than mine .Their drivers are quitting as fast as they hire them and they probably have bigger fish to fry than the few drivers who are willing to put up with this mindless crap coming out of GP

    :)

I saw a poster ad in a truck stop in NC for Poly a week or 2 ago. Can't remember seeing that before and it look like a new poster.

I will go there but depends on the day and what load. Sometimes ur better off waiting a day in grand prairie. Also going up north I can usually get good miles but it will be over a 2 week period. Hard to get up there, go east and back to gp in 8-9 days.
I don't star everywhere I go but it gives someone an idea of where I go with poly on the pic I added.

Cottage Grove use to be my best location.

They may be getting ready to put the SC plant online soon and getting drivers set to run.
