According to the shop they are pulling out the most troublesome Max Force
powered units first and those trucks will be replaced wth the Petes.
So if you have a Max Force thats running well and hasn't been down
half the year like some of the others you'll likely have to wait a little longer
    on a new Pete

Yeah but I guarantee you're going to see some of those new Pete's going to drivers who have been with poly for years and years and guy in crappy maxxforce will upgrade to whatever truck that driver with seniority was in before getting new Pete.

I was told that they are going by trucks with most problems too but also drivers with no points and productivity would play a role as well. Seniority would not play a role. I will believe it when I see it.

So the Sunday before last I took a multiple stop load ending in Florida. After 7k miles in a loaner I got my main truck back for this trip. Did 2 parked regens the Sunday I headed out and noticed the ac wasn't blowing cold(was before I left). That night was cool so no worries, after my 2nd drop in Mississippi the weather started heating up and heading towards Florida I was deciding where I wanted to get it looked at.
That monday after 2 drops I made it to the first loves on i-10 exit 70 and decide to get the loves to look at it as I didn't have hours to get anywhere else. Of course mechanic already went home so poly paid for a hotel and told me to get it checked in the morning.

So I get up Tuesday start the truck and the ac compressor seized up causing the belt to cut. Now I get to wait on a tow truck. 7 hours later tow truck shows up and tows me to Pensacola dealership. Dealership had the ac and belt on by Friday and notice a check engine light on. I told them not to mess with it because the regen system is screwed and I don't want to wait all weekend.

Dealership tries to diagnose why I'm doing regens all the time even though I never told them about it so I'm guessing they see the history and the check engine light and they decide there's an exhaust leak at the dpf filter that could be the problem but can't get to it till this past Monday. I decide to rent a car and drive 400 miles home.

Truck was ready Monday but I didn't get back to it until today. Got a backhaul almost immediately which was surprising because back haul wouldn't take me off breakdown status until I was physically back to the truck. I've done 2 parked regens today and only drove 387 miles lol.

Just a recap since my last service my truck has been in our shop 2 times and a dealership 2 times. All 4 times they did something to fix the regen crap goin on as I've done around 50 or so parked regens since last service. Still not fixed.

Must be a Maxxfarce...when my Cummins powered Prostar blew the a/c out (for the 3rd time in 9 months, in Kingman AZ...in July) they refused to fix it on the road. 115-120° heat and no a/c...I was praying I would die from heat stroke so my wife could own a portion of Poly (she didn't sign a binding arbitration agreement)...it never happened. (Of course, if I ever got brain damage from something like that, no one would know the difference :))

Yeah that's the bad but the good is in 3 weeks I grossed $5k+. Yes I had to use a loaner and deal with the headache of this truck. After 2 and a half years I still enjoy my job here and haven't heard of any better job offers, especially hiring out of Florida. This truck is driving me nuts though. Been dealing with it for to long and somethings gotta give sooner or later.

So I got one of the new petes. It's A nice ride and looks good. I don't like it being automatic. I really wish it was a manual but whatever. This is the first auto I have ever driven and for the most part it's better but the control you lose that a manual would give you sucks.

The immediate issue I see with the Pete's is there's no good spot to put a refrigerator. I seen a pic in the magnum thread where their fridge is but in the poly Pete's it's just a cabinet. Guess I could remove the door and stick a small one in there. I have a mid size fridge maybe on the big side and there's nowhere to put it. Not even the passenger seat as it would block view of the mirror.

Anyways I like it but I'm also brokedown lol 1k miles and in the shop. Sometimes you just gotta laugh and roll with the punches.

That sucks about no room for a fridge. Thats a (small) mark in the "against" column for me lol
