When I first started there Pat was checking logs books in compliance at the gate , Allen was dispatcher and Mike wasn't even there yet.
Mike came in as dispatcher a little while later from being a salesman think it was for a beer distributor.
Mike was always a tool so was Pat Allen was real good in dispatch but when he moved up he quickly became a tool too. Just not as bad.

He was almost schizophrenic....with Mike in the shop office, he was a d-bag...when Mike wasn't in there, he would smile and joke around.

Another desk driver doing shop management?... unbelievable! It's a wonder that Tommy keeps his sanity...If it were me, I would have been down the road years ago. There are plenty of trucking companies in the DFW area that have shops, and plenty of repair shops that he could make better money at, and have possible future promotions...he's basically Poly's #####...

    driverdriver Thanks this.

It sucks, stay far away from poly.
I'm looking to get away from here as soon as I can.
I'm getting tired of cashing these 1500 dollar Paycheck's
    Everyweek, it sucks.

Yes , Tommy has always been my go-to
    person in the shop.

I mentioned recently I would update the thread
once I got back to GP so I could see first hand what was happening in Texas ( didn't want to run on what was overheard Up North )

As far as all the switching around of people all I can report is shipping hasn't changed one iota... I was lucky today in that my load was only 5 hours late . Others were not so fortunate, outside carriers came in and cut off the Poly trucks.

On my end nothing's changed ,
All that matters is ' the load board '
There's literally no life outside the
    load board at Poly

Anything beyond the load board is
    meaningless drama

They sent out a message a couple weeks ago
That if your load wasn't ready within 2 hours of the
Scheduled time ,you had to call outbound and let
    Them know.
Obviously that hasn't done any good if shipping is
    Still 8 hours late.

Im not too worried about it , I do what I can if I leave late
then throw it back in her laps if I can't make it.
There were several long time drivers at GP yesterday,
they just laugh it all off , "nothing ever changes at that place"
basically they don't let Poly frighten them

I spoke with a fellow who just got rehired after being let go from
the company he went to when he left Poly,
he was making 1500 a week there , since
coming back to Poly (rehired) he is only making 800 a week . If you're doing
    1500 then thats pretty good
