Totally forgot to mention the mystery behind all the late loads : It's primarily
due to not enough order puller- loaders .

I heard that they only had 2 puller - loaders on Sunday

    Not enough manpower sort of
    situation

That was the issue when I was there, but it wasn't because they didn't employ enough of them, they were just having trouble getting them to come in when they were scheduled. I offered to help out, but I wasn't employed by Poly America, I was employed by Poly Trucking, even though it's all the same company, I wasn't allowed to do work for P-A...that, and my forklift experience came before they required you to have an OSHA approved operator's license to drive a forklift.

Yep, I was supposed to be loaded 1000 Sunday, got out of there 2400. At least 10 fork lifts sitting idle. Was told that a few workers had called off. I just decided to stop busting my ### to get loads delivered when scheduled after having to wait like that. Going to cost me$$$ as the reschedules are invariably going to screw me but perhaps if they have to keep reworking schedules on multiple drop loads something will change. Oh yeah, the elog #### sucks. More stress, fewer miles, less options but guess nothing much to do but roll with it and try to do the best I can until I can hang up my driving career.

Maybe this the part of the story where
    thoughts of becoming a dispatcher
    start creeping up

Alan is now with Poly America
.... I'm hearing from reliable sources confidence is high he will rectify the situation.

They are setting sales and tonnage records with their product and things must change

They are hiring drivers again ..., hoping
to move up to around 500
