Stay out of the drivers lounge.
    You'll be fine.

I got into trucking so I wouldn't have to interact with others, so that wont be difficult.
Curious as to the why though.

Because, if there is a group of drivers stuck in the lounge, that means freight is slow, or the shipping is behind again and the drivers are in there swapping woe-is-me bad news stories about how it sucks to work there. Then that will put a negative bookmark in your Poly book of experience in it's earliest chapter...it's best not to start down the negative path so early... there's plenty of time for that in the future.

It makes a difference between a good job
    And a great job.
Those of us who live within driving distance
Of Grand Prairie, have it a whole easier.

    We're home a lot more,
And the down time at the shop is not a issue.
Because we're home while they're fixing it.

Ahh. Makes sense. Personally I'm just happy to be leaving my starter company. Going from .39 to .56 is a big deal.
