All those plastic beads left out in the open seemed like a fire hazard to me. One good fire and it would all go up.
You can see the piles of it if you look at the satellite photos.
I hope that is what is burning as raw material can be replaced.
If it’s the factory and/or truck yard a lot of people are going to have be looking for new jobs.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Ok I looked at the pictures from the news stories and compared it to the satellite photos. It is those huge piles of plastic that are burning.
Hope the buildings are OK -
Well I'm sitting right down the road at the loves.
So much for my load to Pennsylvania that was already
2 days late before the fire.
I'm thinking I should just bobtail back to the yard,
Hop in my car and make the 3 hour trip home.
Wait this thing out at home, instead of the truck stop.
Who knows how long this is going to take to get
The shipping up and going again. -
What a cluster that place was Monday and Tuesday. Filled with a lot of angry outside carriers trying to get loaded. When i went to the shipping desk to check on my load there was a lady truck driver screaming at the guy for all the delays.Western flyer Thanks this. -
The fire department says the fire was caused by
High tension power lines falling into the inventory.
I always wondered why there's massive power lines
Running right through the middle of the plant.
The drivers parking lot is right underneath of them. -
I just saw the bad news. Sad.

I actually had to buy o few of the outside carriers
Some food from the junk food machines.
They'd been there so long they didn't have anything
To eat.Harry Flashman Thanks this. -

This is what is burningWestern flyer Thanks this. -
Massive wind storm blew through the metroplex Sunday night. I’d be willing to bet some sort of support cable was compromised leaving a wire suspended under its own weight for a day.
Western flyer Thanks this.
