I'm having problems with my inverter. 2018 peterbilt with Tundra inverter it has the control panel next to the climate controls. Was working fine for the year and half I have had this truck until recently.
It shuts off 2 seconds after I turn it on with an "overload" fault. It still says this after I have disconnected everything. I think it may be dead.
I'm taking my truck into the shop tomorrow for a PM due to mileage. Will they fix the inverter? or will I have to purchase a new one on my own and have them install it? -
I only call dispatch if the breakdown is going to make me late. -
I would expect them to replace/fix the inverter.

You guys got any advice for dealing with these Tag axle Peterbilts in the snow?
Over the past 3 days, I have gotten stuck on flat ground in the snow 5 times.
The previous 4 times, I was able to unstuck myself by repeatedly rocking myself back and forth in the snow. One of these times it took me and hour and half to get myself out, and I was late for delivery.
Now after many attempts, I’m sitting here waiting on a tow truck as I watch all the other trucks in the lot drive off without problems.
This truck is a nightmare in the snow. There is snow everywhere and there is no parking anywhere that won’t get me stuck. I got stuck after my 30 minute break last night, but was able to free myself with some effort. -
