This is very true. After sending in my application and inquiring to make sure they received it I was told the application was received and would remain on file for X months (I don't remember that exact number). If I did not hear from them during that time I could resubmit. My point is that only the acknowledgement of receiving your application is probably standard answer.

Made my last of 4 stops this morning in Lubbock and my backhaul is from where I thought it would be here in Lubbock. However it is going to a Frito-Lay DC on the north side of Houston and not Rosenburg. It is set for delivery tomorrow 4am-10am. Once empty I need to get to Grand Prairie for a PM on my truck and APU. I left GP late afternoon on the 28th of June and should return on the 12th of July. That's 15 days out with one night spent at home and a 34hr restart in Cheyenne,WY. I'll have 6700+/- miles and 10 extra stops for that time out. Once in GP while truck is in the shop I will head to the house for the weekend and start again next week on Tuesday.

Of all the trips I decide to leave the laptop at home. I can download the app to my phone, but it won't let me edit and I can't print from my phone...otherwise my app would be sitting in/on their fax machine.

Dropped my load from CT at our plant in Cottage Grove MN. I picked up a preloaded trailer at the same place and am taking it to Lebanon Oregon for a Wednesday morning delivery. I took this because I can get out there with just enough hours on Monday to let me take a restart before I deliver and can then have a fresh 70 to run my backhaul back east.

    jdrentzjr Thanks this.

I am jealous...over here at Crete I managed a whopping 1950 miles this week. Jdzr had run almost as many miles in 15 days as I have in the last 21, and had 10 extra stops to boot...I gota get home and warm up the fax machine before it's too late.(they're watching ET's Crete thread again(or still), I don't know if they have stumbled on these Poly threads yet)

I have a question...does Poly's fuel card work like Crete's on the cash advance where you can have personal cash set aside w/every paycheck?

We can draw up to $225 off of our fuel card per week. It is a little different from Crete's setup though. We cannot use our card in an ATM to get cash. We must get the cash when we get fuel. The whole $225 is not on there all at once either. They automatically put $75 on it every Mon, Wed, and Fri. The balance does not build. If you don't take your advance, then the balance will remain at $75.

the only state they dont hire in is ca but some states are harder to get home time because of the amount of freight that goes to where you live
